Join “Literacy Has Legs” at Rock the Riverfront

Have you made plans for Rock the Riverfront yet? Literacy Chippewa Valley is participating this year in a BIG way.  Not only were we chosen as one of three charitable organization beneficiaries for this year’s run/walk, we have our own team – “Literacy Has Legs”.  Our team captain is former Family Literacy Coordinator Barbara Nelson. Thank you, Barb, for organizing “Literacy Has Legs”!

Team registrations for Rock the Riverfront ended June 1 (to allow time to get the custom team shirts printed). However, you can still purchase votes to ensure that Literacy Chippewa Valley receives the most votes! Go to “Vote for your Favorite Charity” and pick Literacy Chippewa Valley.  It is very simple to do and there is no limit on the number of times you may vote.

The 24th annual run/walk will be held on June 23, 2018 at Phoenix Park. In addition to the run/walk, you can come down and cheer for our team and volunteer at the event. There will also be family games, food trucks and live music.

Thank you, RCU for choosing us as a Rock the Riverfront charity.

See you June 23rd when “Literacy Has Legs”.
